British Hotel Valletta, Valletta

I was on the 6th floor with no lift, but the room itself was modern, spacious, and had comfortable beds for our 2-night stay. The hotel's distance from reception necessitated a lift for two floors, then a walk along a corridor, and up three flights, which was a downside.

The hotel offers a marvelous view of the three cities and Valetta harbour but has dated, scruffy rooms in need of renovation. The location is convenient for exploring Valletta but involves navigating many steps. The staff is friendly and helpful, though the rooms show signs of decay.
